West Brom have knocked back a fresh offer for striker Saido Berahino from Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Press Association.

Mauricio Pochettino's men have been chasing Berahino throughout the transfer window, but have already seen two bids knocked back by the Baggies.

West Brom have consistently insisted that Berahino will not be sold this summer, warning Spurs off another move for the hitman.

But Tottenham have come back to the table in the latter stages of deadline day and submitted a new offer for Berahino.

However, they have not succeeded as once again Tony Pulis' side have rejected the offer from the White Hart Lane outfit.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs will come back with a fourth offer before the transfer window closes at 6pm (UK time), but the clock is ticking.

Spurs have already offloaded Roberto Soldado this summer and Emmanuel Adebayor could follow him out of White Hart Lane before the transfer window closes.
