Lyon star Nabil Fekir, who has been regularly linked with Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, admits he would be more than open to following Anthony Martial to Manchester United.

Fekir played with Martial in the youth ranks at Lyon, though their paths diverged when Monaco paid €5m to sign the striker in 2013.

Martial has just been snapped up by Manchester United for an initial £36m, making him the most expensive teenager of all time.

And Fekir has pondered potentially following his former team-mate to Old Trafford one day, admitting the Red Devils are a dream club.

"Why not play for Manchester one day?" Fekir mused to Europe 1.

"It's a club you dream about", the forward continued.

"But I'm not there yet. First I need to have a good season at Lyon and then we'll see."

Fekir scored 13 goals for Lyon last term in Ligue 1, helping the club to a finish of second; he also chipped in with 12 assists.

The France international, who has four caps to his name, has started the current campaign on fire, notching four goals in four league games.

Fekir is under contract with Les Gones until 2020.
