Chelsea's new signing Papy Djilobodji has not been included in the club's updated squad list for the Champions League group stage.

Jose Mourinho's men snapped up the 26-year-old centre-back from French Ligue 1 side Nantes in transfer deadline day, but he has found no spot on their Champions League list.

Djilobodji, who cost €4m, will now have to try to make an impact for the Blues in the Premier League and in domestic English cup competitions.

Chelsea's defensive options for the Champions League are Branislav Ivanovic, Kurt Zouma, Baba Rahman, Gary Cahill, John Terry and Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Premier League champions have included several other new signings in their squad.
