Manchester United have congratulated their new signing Anthony Martial for making his France debut tonight.
The Red Devils lavished €50m to sign Martial from Monaco recently, with the deal also containing a whole host of add-ons which could take the final fee to €80m.
In the process Manchester United made Martial the most expensive teenager in world football.
Now Martial's whirlwind week has been capped off by becoming a senior France international and Manchester United have been at the front of the queue to congratulate him.
The club wrote on Twitter: "Congratulations to @AnthonyMartial on his senior France debut. Our new no.9 came on as a sub during Les Bleus' 1-0 win in Portugal."

Martial has been handed the number 9 shirt and heavy pressure to live up to his price tag at Old Trafford.
He will link up with his new team-mates after the international break and could make his debut against Manchester United's fierce rivals Liverpool in a Premier League game.
Manchester United play Liverpool on Saturday 12th September.
