The main aim for Rangers right now is to win game by game rather than look at the bigger picture, right-back James Tavernier insists.

The Gers are on a roll at present, having won their opening eight matches of the season, equalling the legendary Bill Struth's record in the process.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton though has already insisted that there is no need to rejoice about any streak or record as they would mean nothing if they are unable to maintain their run.

And the right-back echoes his manager's sentiments in thinking that his side should look to take one game at a time rather than looking at the bigger picture, particularly at this early stage of the season.

“The question of being unbeaten maybe will be up for discussion further ahead but it’s about winning things game by game and looking at the smaller picture rather than the bigger picture", Tavernier told his club's official website.
