Dynamo Moscow are preparing to tie in-demand Aleksandr Kokorin down to a new contract to ward off interest from other clubs.

The Russia international was linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United over the summer transfer window, but Dynamo Moscow managed to keep hold of the 24-year-old.

Kokorin's current contract with Dynamo Moscow runs out next summer and according to Russian daily Izvestia, the club's board of directors are to finalise a new contract offer for the striker.

Dynamo Moscow are willing to insert a release clause in the new deal, meaning Kokorin will be able to move on if an interested side meet the figure.

Dynamo Moscow snapped up Kokorin from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013, bringing him back to the club for a second spell.
