Mino Raiola admits that he has been impressed with the way Mario Balotelli has behaved since his return to AC Milan this summer.

The 25-year-old striker had a torrid time at Liverpool last term and was quickly shipped back to the Rossoneri on a loan deal this summer, after just one season at Anfield.

While he failed to make very little impact on the pitch for the Reds, Balotelli grabbed headlines off the pitch, and for all the wrong reasons.

He has joined AC Milan on a loan deal, with no purchase option but his agent, Raiola, is not overly concerned about his client’s future destination at the moment.

He is keener to see Balotelli’s behaviour and attitude at AC Milan and Raiola is so far impressed with the way his client has maintained his composure at the San Siro.

“The transfer market is closed, so I am not concerned [about his future] at the moment”, Raiola told Adnkronos.

“In addition to scoring goals, the important thing is Italy is discovering that the player can put up and shut up. For me, his behaviour and attitude is more important.”

Balotelli scored in AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Udinese earlier this week and Raiola is confident that the forward will add more goals to his tally this season.

“When you have class like Mario, many more goals will come.”
