David Beckham has revealed that he didn’t feel insulted for not making Sir Alex Ferguson’s list of world class players.

The legendary Manchester United manager recently revealed that he believes that the only players he worked with who he genuinely feels are world class are Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Some of the biggest names of Manchester United’s past and present didn’t feature in the list, including Beckham, but the former England captain is not overtly fussed about the issue.

He insisted that he is not at all feeling aggrieved, as he is proud about the career he had and said that his time at Manchester United still fills him up with joy.

He believes he played under the greatest ever manager in Ferguson, with some of the biggest names at Old Trafford.

Beckham also indicated that he agrees with his former boss that he might not have been world class.

When asked whether he feels insulted that Ferguson didn’t include him in the ‘world class’ list, Beckham told the BBC: “Not at all.

“I have played for the greatest manager of all time, for the amount of time I did. I was lucky with the players I played with in the team and be successful with the club I loved, I still love.

“So, I tend to agree with the manager. There are certain players, who are world class; thankfully I played with many of them.”

Beckham eventually left Manchester United in 2003 for Real Madrid, but has maintained that he still remains a fan of the Red Devils.
