MLS outfit DC United are in talks with Inter Milan defender Nemanja Vidic regarding a transfer in the near future.

The Serbian defender ended his long-term association with Manchester United to join Inter on a free transfer last summer, but the move has not been a success for the central defender.

Inter’s bad start to last season prompted a managerial change and new boss Roberto Mancini did not initially warm to the veteran defender as it took time for Vidic to secure a spot in his starting eleven.

The defender is currently recuperating from an injury and is not expected to return to action until January. With Inter making a fine start to their current season, there is speculation that the defender might find it hard to regain his place in Mancini’s playing eleven, once he returns.

Therefore, there is talk that the defender is considering his future and according to Radio Televizija BN, he is in talks with MLS outfit DC United regarding a transfer.
