Franco Baldini could take a role with Italian giants Inter after leaving his post at Tottenham Hotspur, it has been claimed.

The Italian's departure from his role as technical director at White Hart Lane was confirmed earlier today by Spurs.

The Premier League club announced in their statement that Baldini will now take a break from club football, however he is quickly being linked with a move to Inter.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Baldini could take up a position with the Nerazzurri, although it is unclear whether any move would be immediate or allow the former technical director a break.

Baldini has an intimate knowledge of football in his homeland, which Inter may be keen to tap into.
