Ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League fixture against Monaco, Tottenham Hotspur’s summer signing Clinton Njie is eager to give the travelling Lilywhites fans an away win.

Njie landed at the White Hart Lane outfit in the summer transfer window and has gone on to feature in four games for the north Londoners across the Premier League, the Europa League and the Legaue Cup.

The forward was previously at French Ligue 1 club Lyon for five years, having come up through the youth ranks of the side, he went on to play 43 matches for their first team and was on the scoresheet eight times.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are scheduled to play French league side Monaco in their second game of their Europa League season and, Njie feels that the Stade Louis II, which remains sparsely filled for most game days, will be packed for tomorrow’s big match.

“It’s an open stadium”, he was quoted as saying by his club’s site.

“It’s not always full, but in big games like when they’re playing against us I think it will be quite crowded.”

He further added that Spurs will look to give their vociferous travelling supporters an away win.

“It’s going to be a good match for the supporters and I hope we can reward our fans with a win.”
