Manchester City new boy Kevin De Bruyne feels that the Premier League is very similar to the Bundesliga and is one of the best leagues in the world, along with its German counterpart.

De Bruyne arrived at the Etihad Stadium earlier this summer for a mammoth fee from Bundesliga big guns Wolfsburg and has eased into the Citizens’ first team, scoring three goals from his first five games so far.

Talking about his early impressions of the Premier League, the Belgium international said that there are more similarities than differences between the English top flight and its German counterpart.

“I don’t think there are a lot of differences with the Bundesliga, there are probably more similarities”, he was quoted as saying by the Manchester City website.

He further added that there are no easy games in either of the leagues and thereby they are the two best in his opinion.

“You have to be tough to win every game, and even against the smaller clubs you have to be 100 per cent to win.

Manchester City will be up against Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach in their next Champions League clash tonight, and De Bruyne will be eager to help his side grab all three points from Borussia-Park.
