Ahead of tomorrow’s league clash against Sevilla, Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has said that he expects a tough game against Unai Emery’s men.

Barcelona are currently sitting second behind Villarreal in the league standings as they have accumulated 15 points from their first six games, and will head to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan to take on Sevilla in their next league fixture tomorrow.

The club have endured a difficult start this term as Rafinha Alcantara, Lionel Messi, Claudio Bravo, Andres Iniesta and Thomas Vermaelen are all out injured.

And Enrique feels that his team are in for a difficult game tomorrow.

“We take on the game with a lot of players out, but they are situations which happen throughout a season”, he was quoted as saying by Catalan daily Sport at a pre-match press conference.

“I expect a difficult game.

“It's the last in a run of seven games in 21 days, so there's a tiredness factor and it's been complicated.”

Sevilla have also endured a difficult start to their season and are in 16th in the table after just one win from six games. They also lost their last Champions League game against Juventus in midweek.

And Enrique has said that the Andalusian outfit’s form shows how difficult it is to win games consistently.

“Their results have surprised me this season, it shows how difficult it is to win games.

“We have seen teams [in the past] play in the Champions League and go down in the same season.”
