Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho insists the Reds are raring to go for tomorrow's Merseyside derby against Everton.

Brendan Rodgers' men head into the game under pressure following a lacklustre start to the season and most recently a 1-1 draw against mid-table Swiss side FC Sion at Anfield in the Europa League.

Everton sit above Liverpool in the Premier League standings going into the game, but the Reds are ready, Sakho has declared.

He took to social media to post photographs of himself and his team-mates training for the Merseyside derby.

And the French defender wrote: "Ready for tomorow! [sic] #Liverpool #Merseysidederby #YNWA #LFC #liverpoolderby."
