Daley Blind has insisted that Manchester United are desperate to avoid a defeat ahead of the international break.

Before the last international break in September, Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Since then Manchester United have won all their three league games and made steady progress to climb to the top of the Premier League table last month.

However, ahead of next week’s international break Manchester United are desperate to avoid a defeat at Arsenal tomorrow, as Blind admits that the feeling inside the squad was not good after they lost to Swansea.

He is not keen to repeat the same mistake at the Emirate tomorrow and wants to go to international duty with the happy feeling of a win under their belt.

“We talked about it and want to avoid that”, Blind told the club’s official website.

“It's not a nice feeling to go away knowing it's two weeks before you can play the next game in the Premier League.

“So it was not a nice feeling to have but we had to move on and I think we came back really good.

“Now we all want to go into the international break with a good feeling.”

Manchester United will have extra motivation to win at Arsenal tomorrow as they have a tough set of fixtures to deal with after the international break.

With trips to Everton and Crystal Palace and a home fixture against Manchester City, Louis van Gaal’s men will face some stern tests in the month of October.
