Liverpool will part ways with assistant manager Sean O'Driscoll, while first team backroom staff members Glen Driscoll and Chris Davies are also departing Anfield, according to the BBC.

The Reds are clearing the decks for Jurgen Klopp to bring in his own team, as the German closes in on agreeing a three-year deal to take over at the club.

Liverpool were keen for O'Driscoll and first team coach Gary McAllister to be kept on and discussed the matter with Klopp.

O'Driscoll however is going, while McAllister may still have a future with the Merseyside giants; O'Driscoll was only appointed, along with McAllister, as assistant manager this summer.

McAllister, a former Liverpool midfielder, has been offered another role at Anfield, but not working with the first team.
