Liverpool have officially confirmed that they will hold a press conference at 10am tomorrow morning.

It is expected that the Reds will present Jurgen Klopp as their new manager on a three-year contract, securing the services of one of Europe's most sought-after bosses.




Klopp has agreed a deal to take over at Liverpool and is reportedly in the process of flying to Merseyside to sign a contract with the Premier League club.

Liverpool announced: "Liverpool Football Club can confirm a press conference will be held at 10am BST on Friday morning at Anfield for a major club announcement."
 


Liverpool sacked Brendan Rodgers as their manager on Sunday after the Northern Irishman presided over a poor start to the season.

They moved quickly to approach Klopp, who gave encouraging signals and agreed to open talks about succeeding Rodgers.

Events are now moving rapidly and Klopp is set to be presented to the media as Liverpool's new manager tomorrow, while his first game in charge will be away to Tottenham Hotspur after the international break.
