AC Milan are considering a move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 26-year-old France international was linked with a move away from St. James’ Park in the summer, with Premier League giants such as Arsenal and Liverpool interested in securing his services.

However, a deal never materialised and he stayed put at Newcastle. He also stated recently that he is happy in England and is enjoying playing week-in-week-out with Steve McClaren’s men.

But Newcastle’s poor start to the season is said to have had an effect on the player and it has been suggested that he has asked the club to allow him to leave in January.

And according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, AC Milan are pondering over securing his services in the winter transfer window.
