Rangers boss Mark Warburton feels that international experience will do his players a world of good, but he also has to keep in mind the fact that the players have adequate rest before they resume with their club.

A number of players have been out on their respective international duties, with clubs getting some respite from their gruelling domestic campaign

While the break can be seen as a distraction by many managers including Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal who has already expressed his fears about the shape his players will be in post the international break, Warburton has no such inhibitions and feels that  international duties will only help his players excel.

Citing the examples of midfielders Gedion Zelalem and Fraser Aird, both of whom are away in North America for their respective international sides, Warburton insisted that the players will face a tough challenge.

Speaking about whether  international duty will be important, the 53-year-old manager told his club's official website: "Very much so, it’s fully justified, they’ve worked hard for it and they’ve got some tough games to go and play over in Germany etc.
