Tottenham Hotspur legend Ledley King feels that so many of the Lilywhites’ players representing the England national team is great news for the club.

Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions have Andros Townsend, Kyle Walker, Dele Alli and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur in their squad over the international break; Alli made is debut against Estonia last night.




The Lilywhites are also well represented in the England youth set-up as Eric Dier is a member of England Under-21s under manager Gareth Southgate.

The north Londoners are well represented at Under-20 level as well with Nathan Oduwa and Harry Winks making Aidy Boothroyd’s side. Meanwhile, Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters are in Under-20s squad. Marcus Edwards and Kaziah Sterling are part of the Under-17s in the English youth set-up.
 


King, who rose through the ranks of Tottenham Hotspur’s youth academy and went on to play for 13 years with the first team, feels that having so many youngsters in the England set-up is great for the club.

England beat Estonia 2-0 last night.
