Ceballos' contract runs out next summer and Real Betis have been reported to have prepared a new contract for the youngster that will extend his stay for three years and make him the third highest earner in the side.

However, Real Madrid are eager to pounce on the midfielder and may land him next summer if he doesn’t renew his contract.

Los Blancos are considering the option of buying the youngster and sending him back to Real Betis on loan, it has been claimed.
