Real Madrid have been dealt an injury blow as Luka Modric is expected to miss out on their next league clash.

Modric has been on international duty with the Croatia national team and suffered a thigh injury in their clash against Bulgaria and had to be withdrawn at half time.




Scans have revealed that the midfielder has an injury that will see him miss out on Croatia’s next fixture against Malta due to be played tomorrow.

The Croat is also expected to sit out of Real Madrid’s next league outing against Levante which is scheduled to be played on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
 


Real Madrid have already seen forward Karim Benzema ruled out after he suffered a hamstring injury while playing for France.
