Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong is looking forward to the Hoops’ upcoming games after recovering from his recent injury.

Ronny Deila’s side are currently lying second in the league standings behind Aberdeen. The reigning Scottish champions have collected 23 points from their first ten league games and are just a point shy of the Dons in the league table.

The Bhoys will be up against Motherwell in their next league game due to be played on Saturday at Fir Park, and then they will travel to the Aker Stadion to take on Norwegian club Molde in a Europa League clash.

Armstrong, who joined the Hoops earlier this year from Dundee United, has returned to full fitness after his recent injury concerns and is all geared up for the upcoming games.

“They are all big games as we’re still pushing for the league and we have the League Cup match against Hearts coming up as well, which is a big game for us”, the midfielder told Celtic View.

“We’d like to retain that trophy and then there’s the Europa League and everyone wants to play in that too, so it’s an exciting month for us.

“I hope that I’m involved and a part of that.”

The Hoops ended their last campaign with a double of the league title and the League Cup and they will be keen to repeat the heroics this season too.
