Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin feels that Chelsea forward Radamel Falcao is struggling because of his loss of confidence, adding that the Colombian will soon get among the goals if he plays more often.

Falcao was on a season-long loan spell at Manchester United last summer from Ligue 1 club Monaco, but he failed miserably at Old Trafford and was returned back to the principality outfit.

This season he has been loaned out to Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea and his struggles have continued at Stamford Bridge as he merely has a goal to show for his efforts from nine appearances in all competitions with the Blues.

Falcao was in stupendous form during his time at Atletico Madrid before moving to Monaco and his former team-mate Godin feels that the Colombian’s struggles are just a matter of confidence.

The forward suffered a leg injury at Monaco that ruled him out of the 2014 World Cup and his form has been in steep decline since.
