Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is loving life in London and believes he has adapted to the English way of life.

The Gunners plucked out the Spaniard from Barcelona’s academy in 2010 and after stints with the club’s youth teams and a loan spell at Watford, Bellerin has firmly established himself in the first team picture at the Emirates.

At 20, the Spaniard is an important part of Arsene Wenger’s exciting Arsenal side and is more or less a regular in the right-back position, despite Mathieu Debuchy’s return to full fitness.

There are rumblings that Bellerin could eventually return to Barcelona, like Cesc Fabregas, at some point in the near future, but the player indicated that he is firmly settled in London.

While a few things are still hard to adapt to, the Spaniard is enjoying the English way of life and is not suffering from pangs of nostalgia for his home country, Spain.

"In London, I love their ways… people run a very different time, get up much earlier, come home early and have time to relax after dinner”, Bellerin told Marca.

“It's a lifestyle which gives you much leverage.

"But not the food itself, of course!

“It's unavoidable to miss some things, but no, I have no nostalgia or anything. If it's anything it's the weather, but I've really adapted."

Bellerin has already made 38 senior appearances for Arsenal and the club are keen to keep the Spaniard at the Emirates for years to come.
