Cesc Fabregas has insisted that Chelsea's players feel privileged to play under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho.

The Premier League champions have made a horrendous start to their league campaign and have collected just eight points from as many games at the start of the season.

Mourinho has already indicated that the league title might be out of the grasp this season, but the Portuguese remains confident that his team will finish in the top four at the end of the term.

There are rumours that all is not rosy inside the Chelsea camp and there have been a few sparks on the training pitch between some of the players and the Blues boss.

Away from all the trouble, the Chelsea manager was in the Ukraine last night to see Spain in action in the Euro 2016 qualifiers and Fabregas confirmed that he will be returning to London with his club manager.

The Chelsea midfielder seemed to have rubbished all the rumours of any dressing room rancour when he said that the players feel honoured to play under Mourinho.

The Spaniard was quoted as saying by AS: “Of course I knew he was here; we are going together to London.

“Mourinho is a good coach, a winner, a person who knows what he is doing and what he wants.

“We are privileged to be coached by him.”

Fabregas is one of the players who have failed to reach last season’s heights and has received heavy criticism for some of his performances at the start of the campaign this time around.

Chelsea are currently 16th in the league table and will be desperate for all three points when they will host one more struggling side in the form of Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa this Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
