CSKA Moscow manager Leonid Slutski has explained his side are aware of the threats posed by Manchester United up front, despite the English outfit’s recent goalscoring draught.

The Red Devils, who are up against the Russian club in a Champions League game tonight, have failed to find the back of the net in their last three outings in all competitions since their 1-1 draw with CSKA in the corresponding fixture in October.

However, Slutski feels Manchester United have the necessary firepower to score “any time against any opponent.”

The manager further added that his side will be playing a counter-attacking game at Old Trafford, owing to Manchester United’s possession-based style of play.

“They are very different from the team we faced in 2009 but Manchester United are Manchester United”, Slutski told UEFA’s official site.

“They remain a club of top quality. This team is obviously very good with possession so we will play a counterattacking game.

“When a team has players like Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney and so on, they can score at any time and against any opponent so their recent blanks don't provide much comfort.”

Manchester United, who played out a goalless draw against Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the weekend, are currently second in Group B of the Champions League with four points from three games.
