Nathan Oduwa has hailed Rangers getting back on track in the Scottish Championship today by putting Alloa to the sword 4-0 at Ibrox.

Rangers bounced back instantly from the pain of last weekend's 2-1 defeat away to Hibernian, needing just ten minutes to take the lead through Martyn Waghorn.

James Tavernier grabbed a second for Rangers just four minutes later in a whirlwind start, before Michael Chopra hit the bar for Alloa.

Waghorn then effectively killed off the visitors by scoring a minute before half time.

Matters got worse for the Championship's bottom club after the break when Eddie Ferns was sent off and Nicky Clark headed a fourth for the hosts at the death.

Oduwa, who was restored to the starting line-up for the game, was delighted to see the Gers back to winning ways.

He took to social media to post a photograph of himself in action and wrote: "Back on track with a 4-0 today v Alloa. Enjoy the rest of your weekend."

Rangers are now next in action after the international break when they travel to Livingston.
