Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has insisted that the players are fully behind Garry Monk, amidst reports of the manager facing the axe.

The Swans, who lost 1-0 to Norwich City at the weekend, are currently 14th in the Premier League with just 13 points from 12 games.

Swansea have managed to win just one game in their last eight league fixtures, losing five times and drawing two, with the sole victory coming against bottom-placed Aston Villa.

However, Fabianski insisted that the players are fully supportive of Monk, who took charge of the club in February 2014.

"Yes [we are fully behind the manager], no question about it", the custodian was quoted as saying by the BBC.

Fabianski further underlined the importance of his side regrouping and bouncing back quickly after the international break.

"At the moment it's not going well for us", he added.

"We need to regroup and try and bounce back as quickly as we can.

"We have to continue to work hard and we've got to stick together as a group.

"Hopefully we will be able to bounce back quickly."

Swansea, who have managed to win just three games in the Premier League thus far, will welcome Bouremouth to the Liberty Stadium after the international break on 21st November.
