Wojciech Szczesny will make a decision on his future after next summer's European Championship in France.

The Poland goalkeeper is currently on a season-long loan at Italian giants Roma from Arsenal, having been pushed out of the first team picture at the Emirates Stadium by Petr Cech and David Ospina.

The jury is out on whether there is a place back at Arsenal for Szczesny and the custodian will speak to the Gunners about his future following the European Championship.

"I will take a decision after the European Championship", the goalkeeper told Przeglad Sportowy.

"I love Arsenal, but at Roma I feel fine. I have the confidence of the coach, my team-mates and the fans", Szczesny continued, before insisting he believes choosing to join Roma on loan in the summer was the right call for his career.

"After the European Championship I will decide what to do. Coming to Roma was the best choice. It was better to be a leader with the Italian runners-up than be on the bench in England."

Szczesny is enjoying regular first team football at Roma, which may weigh on his decision if he receives the chance to continue his stay at the Giallorossi into the 2016/17 campaign.

Roma currently sit third in Serie A with 26 points from their opening 12 games.
