Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has identified Inter striker Mauro Icardi as a potential winter transfer window signing, it has been claimed in Italy.

Icardi shone for Inter in a disappointing season last year, which led the Nerazzurri to work night and say to see off interest in the Argentine by signing him to a new contract.




Inter succeeded and Icardi signed a fresh deal, but now he is being linked with leaving the San Siro outfit barely months after putting pen to paper.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Icardi is of particular interest to Reds boss Klopp.
 


The German, it is claimed, sees Icardi as the ideal attacking addition in the new year as he looks to put his stamp on the squad at Anfield.
