Italian champions Juventus are hoping to make a move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku next summer.

The Toffees paid a club record fee to secure the signature of the young Belgian striker from Chelsea last summer and Lukaku has managed to establish himself as the club’s number one forward under Roberto Martinez.

However, since he signed up with Italian super agent Mino Raiola earlier this year, there has been speculation surrounding his future at Everton as his representative feels the forward is meant for bigger things at bigger clubs.

Juventus are closely monitoring his progress at Everton and according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, the Italian champions are considering making an offer for the player next summer.

The Bianconeri are aware that Real Madrid could look to buy back Alvaro Morata at the end of the season and they have lined up the Belgian as a replacement should the Spaniard return to the Bernabeu.

Lukaku’s stock is on the rise in European football and the Italian champions are also aware that Everton will only listen to any approach for the striker if they are offered a big fee.

However, Juventus are counting on Lukaku becoming restless with Everton’s failure to be in the Champions League and feel they could make a move for him next summer if the Toffees continue to remain absent from the European high table.

The 22-year-old has a contract until 2019 with Everton.
