Rangers starlet Jordan Thompson says he is delighted to be back at the club following the international break.

The Gers have not had a game for two weeks due to the international break and are now in the process of preparing for this weekend's trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena to take on Livingston in the Scottish Championship.

Young midfielder Thompson is happy to be back on club duty and getting ready for the run-up to the busy festive period.

Thompson took to social media to post a photograph of himself in training with Rangers.

And he wrote: "Glad to be back @RangersFC after the international break."

Rangers have seen their lead at the top of the Scottish Championship cut to just two points following Hibernian's midweek win over Livingston.

But the Gers do have a game in hand on Alan Stubbs' men, while they are due to lock horns with Hibs on 28th December at Ibrox.

Rangers have won 12 of their 13 Scottish Championship games so far this season and are strong favourites to win the division and earn promotion up to the Scottish Premiership.
