Valencia are keeping a close watch on Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, who is also of interest to Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Belgium striker has been making waves in French football since joining Marseille last year and has already notched up nine goals in 16 appearances for the club this season in all competitions.

The 22-year-old forward’s performances in France have not gone unnoticed and a number of European heavyweights are considering signing him from Marseille in the near future.

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a bid for the former Standard Liege forward, but it seems they are not the only English club in town who are keen to get their hands on Batshuayi.

According to Super Deporte, Chelsea are also keeping a close eye on the forward and are interested in taking him to west London sooner rather than later.

It has been suggested that Spanish giants Valencia are also keeping tabs on the situation at Marseille and are considering making a move for the Belgium attacker in the near future.

Marseille are unlikely to sell such an important player in the January transfer window, but are aware if he continues to remain consistent, they might find it hard to fend off interest in him in the summer.

Batshuayi has a contract until 2019 with Marseille.
