West Ham United skipper Mark Noble has explained that his side will be looking to return to winning ways against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, following their 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, which he concedes hurt.

The Hammers suffered their heaviest defeat of the season at White Hart Lane as Spurs totally outplayed their London rivals.

It was also West Ham’s first derby loss of the season, with Slaven Bilic’s side defeating fellow London outfits Chelsea, Arsenal and Crystal Palace already in the present campaign.

However, Noble, who insisted that his side are hurting from the derby debacle, stated that the Upton Park outfit are keen to get their season back on track against the Baggies.

“This defeat hurts us the most because it is a London derby. We have been on the winning side a lot over the last few years”, he told the club’s official site.

“But we need to put this behind us and look forward to West Brom which is another game on television and put things right.”

West Ham, who have now failed to win their last three Premier League fixtures, are currently sixth in the league standings with 21 points from 13 games.

Prior to their loss against Spurs, the Hammers drew 1-1 with Everton earlier in November, before losing 2-0 to Watford last month.
