Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista has insisted that he is not thinking about playing in the Europa League, ahead of his side’s crunch Champions League encounter against Dinamo Zagreb tonight.

The Gunners, who are currently third in Group F of the Champions League with three points from four games, need to win their final two group stage fixtures to have any chance of qualifying to the knockout rounds of the competition.

Any other results from the two matches could make Arsenal finish third in the group, which will then enable the club to feature in the Round of 32 of the Europa League.

However, Gabriel, who is solely focused on helping the north London outfit to progress in the Champions League, explained that he is still not giving the prospect of playing in the the Europa League a thought.

“We could still qualify from our group in the Champions League, so I'm not thinking about the Europa League”, he told the club’s official site.

“I think that we need to focus on winning these next two decisive games and what happens with the other results determines whether we will qualify or not.”

Dinamo Zagreb, who also have three points from four Champions League outings, defeated Arsenal 2-1 in the corresponding fixture in September.
