Manchester United have been given a boost after a clutch of players attended first team training today, ahead of the side's Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven later this week.

Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and James Wilson were all pictured training for Manchester United earlier today, giving boss Louis van Gaal a big boost in terms of his attacking options.

All three strikers were unavailable for Manchester United's weekend win away at Watford, meaning Van Gaal fielded Memphis Depay in attack.

However, while the trio taking part in training will please Van Gaal, Phil Jones, Michael Carrick, Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera were all absent.

Valencia is expected to be out of action for around three months and his absence from training is not a surprise.
