Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is not sure Arsenal have what it takes to beat Olympiacos to reach the last 16 of the Champions League, despite beating Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 this evening at the Emirates Stadium.

An Alexis Sanchez brace and a Mesut Ozil goal saw the Gunners power past the Croatian side, who had defeated them in the earlier fixture between the two in the group this season.

Arsenal now face a trip to Greece in their final group stage match knowing that they must beat Olympiacos by two clear goals, or one goal if they score three goals in the game, to reach the last 16.

Arsene Wenger's men are suffering under the weight of an injury crisis and as such Gerrard feels their current group is not strong enough for the job.

The former Liverpool midfielder believes Arsenal need players back to stand any chance of qualifying, as the group which took on Dinamo Zagreb are short.

"I'm not sure that eleven and that squad is capable of going there and getting the result they need", Gerrard said on BT Sport.

"I think they need some bodies back.

"Certainly to strengthen the bench because it could be one of those games that goes right to the wire."

The Gunners are due to play Olympiacos in their final group stage game on Wednesday 9th December.
