Rafinha has expressed his delight after penning a new deal with Barcelona, which will keep him at the club until 2020.

The midfielder, whose new buyout clause has been set at €75m, is currently out injured with a knee injury.




Rafinha tore the cruciate ligament in his right knee during a Champions League fixture against AS Roma earlier in the season.

The youngster, who represented Spain at various youth levels before changing his allegiance to Brazil, made his senior international debut for the South American nation in September, in a friendly against Costa Rica.
 


And the Barcelona youth product insisted that he was very pleased to extend his stay at the Camp Nou.

“I’m very happy. It’s very nice to be enjoying this. Barca is my home”, he told the club’s official site.

“I came here when I was just 13 and I’m very happy to be here.”

Rafinha, who is currently battling to regain full fitness, has thus far made 45 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona, scoring three times.

He also has two caps and a goal for Brazil to his name.
