Celtic manager Ronny Deila is playing his cards close to his chest over his side's speculated pursuit of HNK Rijeka defender Marko Leskovic.

The Norwegian tactician is thought to be eyeing making signings in the winter transfer window, but is staying coy over his targets.

Leskovic, 24, has been linked with being in Deila's sights, but the Norwegian will not be drawn on any move for the player.

Asked about the Croatia international at a press conference, Deila replied: "I can't tell so much about names [smiles]."

Celtic have done business with a Croatian club already this year, snapping up defender Jozo Simunovic from Dinamo Zagreb.

The Bhoys may feel there is quality to be had at an affordable price in Croatia, with Leskovic a potential further signing.

Leskovic has clocked up three senior appearances for Croatia, having made his international debut in 2014.

So far this season the centre-back has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Rijeka, scoring once.
