Manchester United winger Ashley Young wants the side to remain on their game against Leicester City this weekend.

Louis van Gaal’s men squandered a golden opportunity to book their berth in the last 16 of the Champions League last night against PSV Eindhoven when they just managed a 0-0 stalemate at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are now in a precarious position when it comes to their future in the competition as they need to win at Wolfsburg next month to guarantee their place in the next round.

However, Young wants his team-mates to forget last night’s performance and try to focus on Saturday’s clash against Leicester City as it is important that they keep their league form going.

The England winger told MUTV: “Leicester are the leaders, so this is a top-of-the-table clash.

“We’ll be looking to keep up the good form we’ve shown in the league over the last few weeks, and hopefully get the three points.”

Manchester United are currently unbeaten in five in the league and are second in the league table behind Leicester City on 27 points.

They will have the opportunity to topple the Foxes at the top of the table when they visit the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Leicester scored a famous 5-3 win over Louis van Gaal’s men last season in the corresponding fixture.
