Manchester City are pondering a move for Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Javier Pastore next season, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

The Argentina international, who has also been linked with a move to Juventus, recently signed a new contract extension with PSG, which runs until 2019.

But Manchester City are still keen to sign Pastore in the summer, as they look to beef up their squad.

The 26-year-old joined PSG from Palermo in 2011, and has thus far amassed 194 appearances, scoring 35 times and providing 42 assists.

However, Pastore has been used sparingly by PSG boss Laurent Blanc this season, playing just 11 games and scoring once in the process.
