Jurgen Klopp says he is very happy after his Liverpool side grabbed a 1-0 win at home against Swansea City at Anfield today in what were difficult conditions.

Anfield was gripped by strong winds which affected both sides throughout the 90 minutes. It was Liverpool who though coped a little better and the Reds went ahead just after the hour mark.

The goal came from a Jordon Ibe cross, which was handballed, and James Milner fired the resultant penalty into the back of the net.

Liverpool were even able to bring Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson off the bench to clock up minutes and all in all, Klopp was happy as the Reds went up to sixth in the Premier League.

"I'm very, very, very, very satisfied because it was very difficult", Klopp, smiling, told LFC TV.

"The wind was very strong and for both teams it was difficult. But for us, we had more ball possession, so it was more difficult for us.

"The first 25 minutes were really good, but it was hard work from this point on.

"But it's OK. We scored and there weren't so many situations for Simon [Mignolet to deal with]."

Liverpool have now clocked up three wins in a row, beating Manchester City 4-1 last weekend, Bordeaux 2-1 in the Europa League in midweek and today against Swansea.

Klopp's men are next in action in midweek in the League Cup against Southampton.
