Chelsea star Eden Hazard admits his side were looking for revenge over Tottenham Hotspur today, after the Blues were forced to make do with a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane.

Hazard was placed as the most advanced player in the Chelsea side as Jose Mourinho chose to start without a recognised striker, Diego Costa on the bench, as Chelsea aimed to avenge a 5-3 loss at the ground last season.

But rather than streaming forward, Chelsea concentrated on keeping Spurs quiet and were successful in their mission, playing out an insipid 0-0 draw.

Hazard feels Chelsea did well, but admits they were keen to take revenge for last season's loss, which they were unable to do.

He was quoted as saying by the BBC: "It's always difficult to play here, last season we lost 5-3 and we tried to get revenge.

"It is a good result, we didn't have many good chances, but Hugo Lloris made a good save from me.

"A beautiful save, the game could have been a win for us if that goes in", the Belgian added.

Following the game, Chelsea now sit 14th in the Premier League standings with 15 points from their 14 games.

The Blues are eleven points off the top four, which is now the club's more modest target this season.
