Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels his side are jaded, after watching them play out a 1-1 draw against Norwich City at Carrow Road today.

The Gunners were hit by a blow early on when Laurent Koscielny picked up what appeared to be a muscle problem and was replaced by Gabriel Paulista in the eleventh minute.

Arsenal recovered from losing the defender though by taking the lead, with John Ruddy kicking the ball straight to Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez, taking advantage of the goalkeeper's mistake, played in Mesut Ozil, who made it 1-0 in the 30th minute.

Norwich though drew level two minutes before half time when Robbie Brady found Lewis Grabban with a beautiful ball, allowing the Canaries man to make it 1-1.

The Gunners tried to get back into the game in the second half, but lost Sanchez to injury on the hour mark, the Chilean being replaced by Joel Campbell.

It finished 1-1, but at a heavy price for Arsenal with Koscielny and Sanchez injured, while Santi Cazorla also finished limping.

For Wenger, it was clear that Arsenal were physically not at their best and he told the BBC: "In the second half Norwich had good chances and we were playing against a team that is physically clever.

"They defended deep to catch us on the counter-attack and we were a bit jaded, not as sharp as usual."

The Frenchman also believes as a result, Arsenal's performance was not at its usual level.

"The quality of the performance was below what we can do offensively."
