Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has revealed that the club are not keen to sell Thorgan Hazard to Anderlecht.

Thorgan, the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden, joined the German outfit permanently from the Blues in February following a successful loan at Borussia-Park.

However, the German has struggled for game time at Gladbach this season, clocking up just 445 minutes over 11 Bundesliga games.

Anderlecht were eyeing a move for the 22-year-old in January, but it seems the Belgian club will be foiled in their bid to sign Thorgan yet again.

The Belgian outfit were interested in roping in the youngster, who was then under contract at Chelsea, in 2012; but Thorgan was sent on a loan deal to Dutch side Zulte Waregem instead.

Eberl insisted that Gladbach are not at all keen to lose any player during the winter transfer window.

“Thorgan to Anderlecht? Certainly not", he was quoted as saying by Belgian outlet Voetbal Krant.

"We will not change the core of our team in the winter, except perhaps to sign a few. But nobody will leave.”

Thorgan has thus far made 57 appearances in all competitions for Gladbach, scoring seven times.
