Leeds United have announced their Under-21 side for this afternoon's fixture against Crewe Alexandra and have chosen to leave out a number of senior players.

Over recent weeks head coach Steve Evans has used his club's Under-21 games to hand vital minutes on the pitch to senior side players struggling for playing time.

Midfield duo Tommaso Bianchi and Casper Sloth have been two regular features at Under-21 level, while striker Souleymane Doukara has also had much-needed time on the pitch.

But today none of the trio are included in what is a young looking Leeds Under-21 outfit.

Promising goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell, fresh from being on the bench against QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday, starts between the sticks.

And highly-rated full-back Lewie Coyle is also given an outing against Crewe.

There is a young, fresh look to Leeds Under-21s strike force, with Robbie McDaid, Frank Mulhern and Luke Parkin providing the attacking threat.
