Barcelona’s treble winning manager Luis Enrique has made the shortlist for the World Coach of the Year award alongside Bayern Munich’s Pep Guardiola and Chile national team manager Jorge Sampaoli.

Luis Enrique endured a difficult start to life at the Camp Nou, but overcame the odds to help guide his side to their second treble win.

The Blaugrana lifted La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League in 2015 under the guidance of Enrique.

Guardiola, who was the first manager to win the treble with Barcelona, also makes it to the list.

His Bayern Munich side comfortably marched to the Bundesliga title last season, but were knocked out of the Champions League in the semi-finals by Enrique’s Barcelona.
