Chelsea are unhappy that Jeremie Boga has not been given enough opportunities to shine at Rennes this season.

The Ligue 1 outfit signed the talented 18-year-old attacking midfielder from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal last summer, but the Frenchman has failed to secure a starting spot so far this term.

While he has been regularly given opportunities to impress from the bench, Boga has played just once from the starting eleven and Chelsea are not amused with the way their player is being treated.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, the Premier League champions are not happy with the situation Boga is facing at Rennes and want the French outfit to play him more often from the starting eleven.

Boga is considered one of the most talented youngsters in the Chelsea Academy and the Blues were hoping that playing at Rennes in his home country would have helped the player to progress.

However, his lack of action at the club is concerning for Chelsea and the club coaches feel it might stunt the development of the talented French youngster.

Chelsea have asked Rennes to provide more opportunities to Boga or they could decide to cut short his loan stint at the Roazhon Park.

Rennes are currently eighth in the Ligue 1 table on 22 points.
