Paris Saint-Germain are not keen to sell Manchester United linked Edinson Cavani in the summer unless they land a big name forward, it has been claimed.

Rumours surrounding Cavani’s future dominated headlines last summer, but the striker decided to stay put at PSG and has started the season with eight goals in 13 league games.

However, the forward remains unsatisfied as he has not been used regularly in the central striker’s role and has been repeatedly shifted to the left wing to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Speculation surrounding his future refuses to go away and it has been suggested that Manchester United and Juventus have continued to monitor developments in the French capital regarding Cavani.

However, according to French sports daily L’Equipe, PSG are unlikely to sell the striker next summer and he remains an integral part of their future going forward.
